Eligible unmarried male (Indian / Nepali) candidates can apply for Airman Group X (Except Education Instructor) and Airmen Group Y {(Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police), Indian Air Force (Security) And excluding musician trades}]
The applications for the Airmen in the Indian Air Force will start from 02 January 2020 on the Indian Air Force website www.airmenselection.cdac.in or www.careerindianairforce.cdac.in. The last date for submission of the Indian Air Force Airman application is 20 January 2020.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:

• Group 'X' (excluding Education Instructor) - 12th / Intermediate Passed or equivalent / Mathematics, Physics and English in any stream with minimum 50% marks and English with total 50% marks or in any stream. Three years Diploma Course in Engineering pass.
• Group 'Y' (excluding Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P), IAF (S) and Musician Trades) - minimum 50% marks in aggregate and English in any stream/subjects from any institute approved by Central / State Education Boards Passed 12th / Intermediate with 50% marks.
• Group 'Y' only with a minimum of 50% marks in Medical Assistant Trade - Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English and passed 12th / Intermediate or equivalent with 50% marks in English.

Selection Process:

Selection of candidates Phase 1 (Online Test), Phase 2 Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test-1 (For both Group 'X' and Group 'Y' trades), Adaptability Test-2 (Group 'X' And Group 'Y' for both trades) and medical tests.
